This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, at Spirit’s Defense Business Unit (“Spirit Defense”). Spirit Defense is an independent supplier to the defense and space marketplace. Requirements

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance and Special Program Access (for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship)
  • This is a union-represented position.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 0- 2+ years' related experience or a Master's Degree/MBA and 0+ years' related experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Previous experience in the Aerospace industry
  • Experience in capital planning, facilities planning, non-labor planning, and/or workforce planning
  • Experience in capital approval process
  • Experience generating metrics for upper leadership
  • Experience working with multi-functional teams
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
  • Programming/Data Visualization experience (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
  • SAP

Responsibilities

  • Plans, commits, and controls the deployment of resources in response to customer, program, and business requirements
  • Directs the development, integration, implementation, and management of new or revised programs, plans, strategies, or processes
  • Authorizes changes to work statements using a formal directive system
  • Develops control systems, maintains status information of program and customer commitments, and monitors compliance to plan
  • Interfaces with management from many occupations and organizations to provide leadership and coordination
