Integrated Behavioral Health Clinician (LCSW) - Temporary
About The Position
Gardner Health Services is currently recruiting to fill an Integrated Behavioral Health Clinician position. This is a temporary full-time position in Gardner's Integrated Behavioral Health Department. Temporary positions are not eligible for benefits. The position is based out of both the Saint James Clinic in San Jose, CA. Gardner's Integrated Behavioral Health program provides behavioral health services in the primary care setting within a multidisciplinary team including Primary Care Physician, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Psychiatrists, and Peer Partners. The primary tasks of this position include providing mental health assessments and short-term treatment to patients ages 6 and over. Additional duties include participation in regular consultation meetings with IBH providers to discuss patient care, referring patients to mental health services or community resources, and maintaining electronic health records on patient encounters. We welcome candidates who are knowledgeable of short-term, evidenced-based models such as CBT, PST, TF-CBT. Candidates must possess strong organizational skills, be flexible, and team oriented. Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills are required as well as basic computer skills. Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required. HIRING BONUS! Requirements
- Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree
- Must possess a valid CA state license to practice Clinical Psychology and/or Social Work.
- Licenses permitted to bill Medi-Cal in FQHC setting include LCSW and Licensed Psychologist only.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills are required as well as basic computer skills.
- Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred.
- Experience working in a community clinic setting is preferred but not required
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems (Epic, NextGen, etc.)
