About The Position

This position involves direct contact with Washington County residents who need emergency services. The role requires discussion, needs assessment, review, and research to coordinate services and referrals appropriately for each individual household.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalency.
Able to operate basic office equipment.
Possess basic knowledge of computer programs.
Pleasant/friendly approach to clients, community, and coworkers.
Flexible.
Demonstrate an understanding of everyone’s experiences, every day.
Ensuring the delivery of services that recognizes and respects that every moment matters.

Responsibilities

Assisting clients, which may include greeting applicants with appointments/walk-ins, addressing/resolving inquiries, and scheduling appointments.
Implementation of programs such as LiHEAP, Food, Housing, and Weatherization by taking, completing, and filing applications.
Utilizing office equipment and basic computer programs.
Conversing with vendors/contractors and/or Program Grantors.
Mailing confirmation letters to applicants/vendors.
Maintaining necessary case notes and relevant spreadsheets.
Generating outreach activities for potential clients in the agency service area.
Performing any other duties as assigned by Program Director, Chief Operating Officer, or President/CEO.
