The Intake Specialist serves as a patient advocate and facilitates the process that allows for access to life changing care for members of the community. The Intake Specialist is a professional who serves as the first point of contact at the facility for all patients and families seeking services. Intake Specialists work within a collaborative team including physicians, providers, other intake specialists and many other members of a multidisciplinary team. The Intake Specialist gains career experience to develop and progress with a nationally recognized behavioral health leader. Pool II: The pool employee must be available to work a minimum of eight (8) shifts [64 hours] per a 4 week scheduling period including three weekend days based on program needs. Pool hours are scheduled based on the needs of the department. The majority of hours available for this position are typically on weekends and on evening shifts. Some daytime and third shift hours may be available. Intake staff are also required to fill in the Receptionist role as needed.
