About The Position
The Intake Specialist processes incoming referrals from hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, primary care providers (PCPs), and specialists. The role verifies insurance eligibility for services, including nursing, medication, and equipment needed by patients in the home setting.
Requirements
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- One year of customer service experience.
- Ability to use various computer programs and applications, such as EMR/EHR systems.
- Ability to self-motivate and work independently.
- Ability to multitask, set priorities, and manage time effectively.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.
- Certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
