About The Position

The Intake Specialist II will coordinate the enrollment process of potential PACE participants. The Intake Specialist II will work with the Enrollment Development Specialists (EDSs) to assist in increasing the PACE program membership by effectively enrolling potential participants and supporting retention efforts. The Intake Specialist II will be responsible for discussing, upselling, and explaining the overall services provided by the PACE Program. The Intake Specialist II will be housed at the AltaMed PACE site they support and will act as the bridge between the Marketing and Operations teams. The Intake Specialist II is responsible for managing participants’ enrollments and will be the central point person will working in conjunction with other PACE cross-functional departments to ensure participants are enrolled on time. This role demands working in a fast-paced team environment, in collaboration with internal and external AltaMed operations teams. The Intake Specialist II will utilize the Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) to track and monitor all leads and will be responsible for daily status reports on marketing efforts and participant enrollment progress. Other responsibilities include assisting with identifying new referral sources, conducting outreach activities, and generating enrollment leads through internal promotion activities. The Intake Specialist II will provide additional support to the Intake Supervisor and Marketing Management team as assigned. The Intake Specialist II must ensure consistent compliance with all state, federal, and company-specific requirements.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, or a related nursing field of study, or a minimum of three (3) years of experience in the healthcare industry.
  • A minimum of two years of experience working with the elderly and their families, preferably in a healthcare or community agency setting.
  • Bilingual Cantonese/Mandarin/Vietnamese/English or Spanish/English required.

Nice To Haves

  • Marketing/Sales experience preferred.
