About The Position

The Intake Registered Nurse (RN) at Smokey Point Behavioral Hospital coordinates assessments of incoming patients with A&R Counselors, coordinates providers’ admission orders, and initiates the admission process with the Admissions Clerk and Admissions Clinicians. The role screens referrals and provides direct and indirect care and support to patients, families, and legal guardians as part of the health care team. This position is based at Smokey Point Behavioral Hospital in Marysville, Washington. Requirements

Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program.
Hold a valid Washington State RN license.
Have a minimum of three years of experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility.
Demonstrate crisis management and time management skills.

Maintain a calm, organized, and professional demeanor in stressful situations.
