About The Position

The BridgeWay is looking for a dynamic behavioral health professional who is dedicated and passionate about providing quality services and care to our community. Under the direction of the Director of Assessment and Referral, the Intake RN assures smooth and orderly admissions into the hospital. Receives incoming admission inquiry calls, assesses patients for admission, and makes appropriate referrals. The Intake RN helps streamline the patient experience by completing the necessary assessments and medical documentation moving the patient through the admission process to the unit. The Intake RN is responsible for assisting with the achievement of patient outcomes in accordance with the missions of the hospital.
PRN openings include:
1 week overnight (9p – 7a M-F)
1 weekend overnight (7p – 7a Fri – Sun)

Requirements

• Current license to practice nursing in the State of Arkansas.
• Current CPR/BLS and Handle with Care certifications (offered onsite).

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting with patients aged 5-65yrs+.
