Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Guides patient and families through the registration and admission process.
- Answer and document incoming phone calls and patient walk-ins.
- Communicates with unit staff, manages bed board and escort patients to the unit.
- Verify patient insurance coverage, and eligibility.
- Enter accurate patient demographics, generate patient labels and review and ensures patients consents forms are completed accurately.
- Manages patient property and ensures no contraband is sent to the unit.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in line with HIPAA and state regulations
