Serve as initial NBH contact for referents, counties, and third-party payers. Schedule intake interviews and schedule with staff. Describe NBH program/services to referents and potential clients. Develop and maintain working relationships with referents, clients and payers. Interview and assess referred clients for admission to programs. Schedule admissions and maintain current client lists. Coordinate and assist with admissions at various locations as needed. Maintain client data and prepare reports for evaluation and budget proposals. Verify insurance coverage for each CD and MH client (pre-authorization) prior to admittance. Assist in securing funding authorizations prior to admission through CCDTF, PMAPs, commercial policies, and private pay. Track and maintain comprehensive assessments. Communicate new or updated needs to counseling staff. Role model behavior which is consistent with and supportive of people in recovery from substance use disorder. Such behavior will include upholding ethical standards of the program and reliable attendance. Participate in weekly staffing meetings and supervision meetings. Provide court, Department of Corrections, and other referral sources with updates and coordination of client intakes. Work cooperatively with outside agencies. Intake coordination into outpatient, sober living etc. and recommended continuum of care following. Facilitation of referrals to mental health services as identified by a client's comprehensive assessment or treatment plan. Other duties may be assigned.
