About The Position

The Intake Coordinator receives and coordinates referrals from physicians, hospitals, facilities and other community referral sources for residential treatment. The incumbent collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to screen incoming referrals to validate program eligibility in accordance with established procedures; ensures customer has appropriate insurance coverage; documents actions and medical records, and tracks and monitors all referrals.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in a behavioral health related field required
Washington State Counselor Agency Affiliated Registered (ACCR) credential must be applied for within thirty (30) days of hire.
Employees may work while the application is pending for up to one hundred twenty (120) days, unless a higher credential is already held: Counselor Agency Affiliated Certified, Counselor Agency Affiliated Licensed, Marriage & Family Therap Assoc (LMFTA), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), Mental Health Counselor Assoc (LMHCA), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), SW Associate Advanced License (LSWAA), SW Advanced Lic (LASW), SW Assoc Independent Clinical Lic (LSWAIC), SW Independent Clinical Lic (LICSW)
