About The Position
The Intake Coordinator performs a variety of tasks to support customer satisfaction in a cost-effective manner. The role requires strong phone skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Intake Counselor screens callers contacting AGMC’s Behavioral Health Unit to assess possible admission or refer them to community resources, and coordinates admissions to inpatient services.
Requirements
- Good phone skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- At least 1 year of experience in inpatient psychiatry, either working on a psychiatric unit and/or handling intake calls for inpatient psychiatric hospitalization.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma.
Responsibilities
