We are seeking an Intacct/ERP Director to be responsible for leading the design, development, integration, and optimization of the Sage Intacct CRE platform, and management of the VAR (Value Added Reseller). This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient financial system architecture that supports business operations and growth. This position reports directly to the Vice President of IT.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience with ERP systems, with strong expertise in Sage Intacct
• Experience with API integrations and middleware platforms (e.g., Boomi, MuleSoft)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (GL, AP, AR, revenue recognition)
• Proven experience leading technical teams or projects
• A DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a systems integrator or multi-client environment
• Familiarity with adjacent systems (e.g., Salesforce, payroll, expense management tools)
• Knowledge of data tools (SQL, Power BI, or similar)
• Sage Intacct certifications

Responsibilities

• Develop a vision for the ERP system, have oversight of Intacct VAR relationships and coordinate with the software; data governance responsibilities are shared with Business Process Owners (BPOs), who manage detailed oversight.
• Establishment and enforcement of standards (including reporting, extensions, smart rules/events, and data corrections)
• Implementation and monitoring of controls
• Documentation management and knowledge-sharing processes
• Security and user access administration, including onboarding of new users and delivery of general Intacct training
• Development and maintenance of smart rules, smart events, automation controls, custom fields, custom objects, transaction definitions, and workflows
• Licensing oversight
• Full management of all Intacct VAR interactions and Intacct system instances
• Coordination of change management processes (including quarterly releases and minimization of unnecessary customizations)
• Issue ticketing system administration, including resolution, coordination, and escalation to VAR or Intacct as necessary
• Review of new Intacct functionality releases, routing updates to appropriate BPOs, and championing the adoption of standard features and best practices
• Participation in enhancement projects, serving in support, project management, or leadership capacities based on project size and complexity
• Support of acquisition strategies and integration efforts
