Location: Mirabel, Quebec – Hybrid mode (minimum 3 days per week on site) About the Job you are considering We are seeking Electrical Integrator who is responsible for investigating issues and managing changes with key stakeholders (manufacturing, FAL, engineering, suppliers, etc) through change management process and working on Electrical Wiring Interconnection System

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline

Responsibilities

  • Define, develop, and maintain EWIS architecture, including wiring routing, separation principles, protective measures, and termination strategies.
  • Create detailed wire harness models and installation designs.
  • Coordinate with design and installation teams to ensure accurate harness definition, connector selection, and integration with aircraft structure.
  • Develop and manage EWIS requirements, specifications, and compliance documents in accordance with FAA and EASA regulations (e.g., 14 CFR Part 25 Subpart H, CS‑25).
  • Conduct and document zonal analyses to ensure segregation, redundancy, physical protection, and safety margins meet certification requirements.
  • Prepare and present EWIS design data, safety assessments, and compliance packages for internal design reviews and regulatory authorities.
  • Collaborate with avionics, electrical power, propulsion, environmental control systems, and structural engineering teams to ensure effective EWIS integration throughout the aircraft.
  • Support trade studies evaluating routing options and nontraditional aircraft layouts, balancing weight, maintainability, manufacturing feasibility, and safety.
  • Contribute to development and refinement of digital mock‑ups, routing databases, and EWIS design tools to improve efficiency and data quality.
  • Maintain configuration control of harness models, datasets, and interface definitions using PLM systems.
  • Provide engineering support during prototype build, manufacturing, installation, troubleshooting, and ground/flight testing phases.
  • Work with production teams to resolve wiring issues, optimize manufacturability, and ensure conformity with released designs.
