About The Position
Baylor Scott & White Surgicare Mansfield is hiring an Insurance Verifier / Registration Clerk. This position serves as a key point of contact for patients, families, physicians, and staff. The role is responsible for verifying insurance coverage, obtaining authorizations, registering patients, maintaining accurate patient records, and collecting patient payments. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Requirements
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years' previous insurance verification experience required
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous healthcare registration preferred.
