About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager with a strong background in the insurance industry to lead and deliver complex technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing cross-functional teams, coordinating multiple workstreams, and driving successful project execution across business and technology stakeholders. This role requires strong governance, communication, risk management, and delivery leadership skills. Experience working with insurance platforms such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, EIS, or similar systems is highly preferred.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Project Management experience delivering technology programs.
• Strong experience within the Insurance industry.
• Deep understanding of insurance products, operations, and business processes.
• Proven experience managing multiple project workstreams simultaneously.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in complex environments.
• Strong risk management, issue management, and dependency tracking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to provide concise, executive-level project updates.
• Experience working with vendor, offshore, and onshore delivery teams.
• 8–10 Years Experience

Nice To Haves

• Experience with insurance platforms such as: Guidewire, Duck Creek, EIS, Similar Policy Administration Systems
• Experience supporting release and cutover activities.
• Experience working in highly regulated environments.
• PMP, Agile, Scrum, or related Project Management certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of technology projects within the insurance domain.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Coordinate activities across business, technology, vendor, offshore, and onshore teams.
• Facilitate project governance including RAID logs, action logs, decision logs, and dependency management.
• Track project milestones and ensure timely delivery of objectives.
• Prepare and present executive-level project status reports and leadership updates.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project priorities and resolve issues.
• Support release planning, implementation, and cutover activities.
• Drive project execution with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality delivery standards.
