The Retention Specialist works closely with the producer to manage daily responsibilities in a fast-paced, sales-driven office environment. Strong attention to detail, excellent phone skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure are essential. The ideal candidate is comfortable multitasking, managing high call volumes, and answering phone calls with a professional, relationship-driven approach that fosters trust and connection. Proficiency with advanced technology—including operating across four computer screens simultaneously—is required. This position is ideal for someone seeking a long-term career with stability.
Requirements
- Texas Department of Insurance General Lines Property & Casualty License
- 3-5 Years minimum experience in the insurance industry
- Communication Skills
- Ability to navigate and utilize multiple technology systems.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and learn quickly
- Utilization of multiple technology platforms and ability to learn new technology adaptations quickly
- Interest in a long-term career with Jacobs Insurance Solutions
Responsibilities
- Working with the Insurance producer to manage daily activities
- Contacting clients on behalf of the producer
- Processing renewals
- New business
- Cross Sell Opportunities
- Operating phone systems and transferring calls
- Going into the carrier websites to obtain applications and documentation need for the agency
