About The Position
Clark Hill is seeking an Attorney with 7+ years of practice experience to join its Insurance and Reinsurance group. Candidates can work remotely but must be licensed in the state in which they reside. This Attorney will represent both international and domestic insurers and reinsurers on issues relating to pre-underwriting risk assessments, claim management and coverage opinions for professional liability risks in the U.S.
Requirements
- 7+ years of practice experience
- Licensed in the state in which they reside
- Experience in insurance coverage, medical malpractice, or mass torts
- Ability to present complex liability and coverage issues in well-organized and concise written work product
- Exceptional advocacy, research, writing, and negotiation skills
- Strong academic credentials
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with a solid work ethic
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Represent both international and domestic insurers and reinsurers on issues relating to pre-underwriting risk assessments, claim management and coverage opinions for professional liability risks in the U.S.
- Trial preparation and courtroom experience, including file responsibility, motion practice, and deposition experience
- Work with e-discovery software
