About The Position
We’re looking for a detail-oriented team member to join Risk Underwriting in North Vancouver to review various Underwriting premium leakage programs. This role focuses on reviewing and analyzing policies to ensure accurate premium assessment, adherence to underwriting guidelines.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Insurance Rating Models, Additional Products, UDAP, and basic understanding claims practices.
- Proficient in PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, Customer Inquiry tool, Excel, SAP and legacy systems.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Critical thinking and sound decision making
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Investigate and review policies to ensure accurate premium assessment and compliance with underwriting guidelines.
- Unlisted Driver Accident Premium (UDAP)
- Escalating Deductible Program
- Denial of Own Damage Program
- Other Premium Leakage work
- Additional product pricing and issuance-(Special Coverages)
- Analyze driver listings, policy details, and rating factors for accuracy.
- Provide support to brokers and internal teams on pricing and policy inquiries.
- Use systems and data tools to support analysis and decision-making.
