About The Position

Information Providers, Inc. is seeking a part-time 1099 Insurance Property Inspector in Fairfield, CT. This role is field-based with a flexible schedule, ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently, managing their own time, and traveling throughout their assigned territory. The inspector will conduct on-site inspections of homes and businesses, capturing detailed photographs and documenting key features for underwriting decisions. Responsibilities include assessing property conditions, identifying potential hazards, gathering accurate data, and compiling thorough underwriting survey reports. This is a remote position with no central office reporting required, and administrative work is completed from home.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.

• Strong attention to detail with accurate measuring, documentation, and reporting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
