About The Position

Information Providers, Inc. is seeking a part-time 1099 Insurance Property Inspector in Essex, NJ, who thrives in an independent, field-based schedule. This role involves conducting on-site inspections of homes and businesses, capturing detailed photographs and documenting key features for underwriting decisions. Inspectors will assess property conditions, identify potential hazards, and gather accurate data. The role also includes compiling thorough underwriting survey reports remotely to support informed risk evaluation. This is a 1099 position with flexible weekday hours, dispatching daily from home with no central office reporting required.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.
• Ability to work independently while managing own schedule and workload.
• Strong attention to detail with accurate measuring, documentation, and reporting skills.
