We are open to levels III - IV for this position. As a Product Analyst IV, you’ll play a key role in driving profitable growth and shaping the future of our insurance products. You’ll use data-driven insights, critical thinking, and cross-functional collaboration to help guide product performance and innovation across our portfolio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 6+ years of analytical experience in related industry; multiple functions' experience is preferred
  • Superior research, statistical, analytical, processing and mathematical skills with ability to structure and conduct analyses
  • Adaptability and the capability of multitasking and strong time management
  • Ability to make effective formal presentations
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to coach and mentor co-workers and give feedback as required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SAS, SQL, Visual Basic and various structured analysis and design techniques.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, financial analysis, or a related insurance or data analytics role.
  • Proven ability to analyze and interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable business insights.
  • Proficiency in SQL, SAS, and Excel required; experience with Power BI, Snowflake, Python, or R strongly preferred.
  • Strong business-acumen and understanding of insurance products, with the ability to connect data insights to strategic objectives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to a variety of audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functions, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • A continuous improvement mindset – proactive, curious, detail-oriented, and motivated to innovate.

  • Travels as needed for role, including divisional / team meetings and other in-person meetings
  • Advanced degree in related field and/or CPCU designation

Responsibilities

  • Performs moderately complex analysis to develop actionable and innovative recommendations that support growth and profitability targets.
  • Proactively assesses market risks and opportunities, evaluating multiple possible solutions, and using data-based insights to influence the decisions of executive leadership.
  • Uses analytical tools such as SAS, SQL, Microsoft Excel, Essbase to access and analyze large amounts of data (may also use other tools such as Snowflake, PowerBI, Python, etc.).
  • Understands, monitors and communicates overall performance, trends, and strategic insights of personal lines auto and property products.
  • Works cross-functionally across the organization, including with Actuarial, Finance, State Product Management, Operations and others, to support the development, design, and implementation of new products, programs, and processes.
  • Supports the development of business-cases for new initiatives by synthesizing data, modeling scenarios, and evaluating financial impacts.
  • Prepares and delivers clear, compelling presentations and reports tailored to diverse audiences, including leadership, regional partners, and external team members.
  • Finds opportunities to streamline processes and improve analytical efficiency through automation, enhanced tools, or data governance improvements.
  • This role may require occasional travel (<10%) to meet with internal teams or cross-functional team members.
  • Fulfills business needs, which may include investing extra time, helping other teams, etc.
