ABA Insurance Services Inc., a division of Great American, has been a market-leading provider of professional liability, bond and P&C coverage for financial institutions for over 35 years, as well as EPLI and cyber for small businesses and D&O for nonprofit organizations. This position is based out of the Shaker Heights, OH office. Great American’s culture is built on connection, shared learning, and strong relationships. To support this, employees in this role are expected to be on-site four days a week, with the flexibility to work one day remotely. Core in-office days are Tuesday–Thursday, with the fourth day determined by business needs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (Associate degree preferred)
  • Generally, a minimum of 10 years of experience in insurance operations or customer service.
  • Completion of or continuing progress toward a professional designation preferred, such as Property/Casualty Insurance license.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for agents, brokers, underwriters, and internal stakeholders.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree preferred
  • Completion of or continuing progress toward a professional designation preferred, such as Property/Casualty Insurance license.

Responsibilities

  • Manage policy lifecycle transactions, including new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
  • Ensure data accuracy and document quality across underwriting and policy administration systems.
  • Generates and distributes policy documents, certificates of insurance, and other related materials, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for agents, brokers and underwriters.
  • Partner with business teams to improve processes, drive efficiency, and reduce operational friction.
  • Contribute to training, documentation, and knowledge-sharing efforts.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
