About The Position

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking an Insurance Marketing Specialist for their Environmental Practice team. This role supports producers and account teams by managing the marketing and placement workflow for environmental/pollution liability business insurance submissions. The specialist will act as the primary placement resource, analyzing submissions, recommending market strategies, negotiating with carriers, preparing proposals, and binding coverage. They will also provide technical environmental insurance expertise, maintain carrier relationships, and ensure placements meet agency standards.

Requirements

P&C Insurance License and/or surplus lines license.
Minimum 3 years' experience within the environmental insurance space (brokerage, underwriting, consulting, loss control, or claims) with demonstrable experience handling environmental/pollution placements.
Proven track record of managing book(s) of business or a steady flow of environmental submissions.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree in science, engineering, math, and/or risk management/insurance is preferred.
