Responsibilities

  • Claims management
  • Worker’s Compensation: Obtain documentation insurer needs to manage claim (wage statements, incident reports, job descriptions, work statuses), Coordinate injury management and return to work with Operations
  • Liability: Obtain documentation insurer needs to investigate claim (incident reports, video, contracts, witness statements), Coordinate management of claim with Legal and insurer
  • Builder’s Risk/Property: Coordinate investigation with construction manager, general contractor, insurer and others, Obtain repair quotes, invoices and compile claim submission to submit to insurer
  • LATAM: Work with local contacts to ensure that documentation is being provided to insurers timely and insurer’s requests are being handled
  • Construction project insurance procurement and lender compliance: Consistent line of communication with construction teams and general contractors well in advance of a project start to ensure that appropriate insurance is in place based on ADC and lender requirements, Obtain supporting documentation needed for builder’s risk insurance placement (various budgets, loss of rent pro formas, PML surveys), Review insurance proposals to ensure appropriate coverage for the project that complies with lender requirements and give GC approval to bind policies, Obtain documentation needed for lender compliance (budgets, COIs, endorsements, policies, surveys) and complete review process with lenders, Track projects for scope changes that may affect insurance coverage limits, BR policy expiration dates/extensions, Compile information needed to transition projects to operational policies after project complete (values, dates, COOs, etc.) and provide updated COIs for lenders
  • Coordinate loss control surveys for US and LATAM locations: Work with local site contacts on scheduling, Follow up on results of surveys, prepare formal responses to recommendations, Work with Ops teams to implement recommendations either at individual site level or at enterprise level
  • Lead monthly open items calls with Insurance Broker(s): Maintain ADC open items list to ensure alignment with Lockton’s list and follow all items to resolution
  • Assist with insurance renewal process and ongoing program management: Compile data for renewal submission, Track receipt of quotes, binders, policies, COIs, invoices and check for accuracy
  • Quarterly reporting for Warehouse Legal Liability policies
  • Mid-term adjustments (new site additions, value changes, etc.)
