The company prefers inspectors to reside within their operational areas to minimize travel time and maximize service efficiency. This role involves inspecting various commercial establishments such as restaurants, bars, taverns, apartments, and repair garages for property/casualty insurance purposes. Previous and ongoing experience in this specific type of work is mandatory, as no training is provided. Applicants must be current insurance loss control inspectors with actual experience in this field to be considered.
Requirements
- Previous/ongoing experience in commercial insurance loss control/underwriting survey inspections.
- Actual experience performing this specific type of work.
- Must be a current insurance loss control inspector.
- Must live in the area of operation (State of Alabama preferred).
Responsibilities
- Perform underwriting surveys for property/casualty insurance purposes.
- Inspect commercial establishments including restaurants, bars, taverns, apartments, and repair garages.
- Conduct inspections in the State of Alabama.
