About The Position
The Miami office of Kubicki Draper is currently seeking an Insurance Defense Paralegal with three or more years of prior experience. Qualified candidates should have background in pre-suit, civil litigation, auto negligence and/or general liability.
Requirements
- Three or more years of prior experience.
- Background in pre-suit, civil litigation, auto negligence and/or general liability.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Task oriented.
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced friendly environment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in insurance defense litigation and/or general liability.
- Prior experience in reviewing and summarizing medical records and bills.
- Working knowledge of Florida Court procedures.
Responsibilities
- Summarize medical records, bills and supporting documents, as well as create medical chronologies and bill summaries.
- Communicate with clients, carriers, and counsel effectively in a team environment.
- Competent in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Adobe & Excel.
- Must be task orientated.
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced friendly environment.
