This position is responsible for representing clients in all areas of PIP defense practice, handling cases that are primarily low in complexity and exposure. Manages all phases of cases from intake to resolution. The role involves litigating low complexity and exposure cases, performing duties necessary from intake to trial and/or settlement, including preparation of pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs. The attorney will attend hearings, conferences, interviews, mediations, arbitrations, and/or trials. They will proactively inform leadership of case handling opportunities and challenges, consult with the Claims Department on legal aspects of files, and perform other tasks for efficient case management. The role may involve handling second chair trials and trials in cases with minimal complexity/exposure, or providing support to senior attorneys in more complex cases, potentially receiving developmental assignments.
