About The Position

Founded over 70 years ago, we represent businesses, insurers, and professionals in strategic, cost-effective litigation and counseling nationwide and globally. With over 90 attorneys across ten offices, we serve as international, national, regional, and local counsel to insurers, corporations, and financial institutions. While our core focus is insurance: coverage analysis, defense, and subrogation; we also advise on a broad range of commercial litigation and liability matters.

Requirements

• IL bar
• Recent experience with insurance coverage or defense

Responsibilities

• Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation
• Draft dispositive motions, coverage position letters, and reservation of rights correspondence
• Represent clients in state and federal courts, as well as mediations and arbitrations
• Manage caseload independently while collaborating with partners and clients
