About The Position

The Dallas, Texas office of Lewis Brisbois is seeking an attorney to join its Insurance Coverage Practice. The practice interprets insurance contracts and represents insurers in complex coverage claims, including monitoring, mediations, arbitrations, and declaratory relief litigation in state and federal courts throughout the United States. The firm represents primary and excess insurers, reinsurers, third-party administrators, managing general agents, insurance brokers and agents, and independent adjustment companies, across virtually every line of business. Candidates should have substantive litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in insurance law. While experience in insurance law is preferred, the firm is also interested in talented attorneys with strong skills in other litigation areas. Requirements

Admission to the Texas Bar is required.
At least two to seven years of experience analyzing insurance coverage and preparing coverage opinions regarding first-party property and general liability matters is sought.
Litigation experience, including taking depositions, attending court hearings, and drafting and arguing motions.
Strong research and writing skills.
Substantive litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in insurance law.
