About The Position

MEI is hiring a detail-oriented Insurance and CPI Compliance Clerk to ensure all vehicles in MEI’s portfolio maintain proper insurance coverage. This role protects company assets by tracking policy expirations, verifying coverage, and enforcing CPI placement according to MEI’s policy.

Requirements

• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple accounts
• 1-2 years working in an Office Environment

Responsibilities

• Responding efficiently and accurately to callers, explaining possible solutions, and ensuring that clients feel supported and valued.
• Monitor insurance coverage on all Active Accounts
• Track and follow up on expiring or cancelled policies
• Review insurance declaration pages for accuracy (VIN, lien holder, coverages, dates)
• Communicate with borrowers and insurance agents
• Place and remove CPI coverage as required by MEI
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports
