About The Position

The Insurance Case Manager position is responsible for communicating and verifying resident and patient insurance information in a timely manner to ensure that claims are paid and processed per the patient’s benefit plan. This role involves organizing, coordinating, processing, and maximizing benefits obtained from multiple payer sources. Duties may also include initiating prior authorizations and appeals as necessary to ensure proper payment of services. Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of insurance experience.
• Knowledge of insurance products and industry required.
• High school education or GED equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Associates Degree and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Technology or related field is preferred, but not required.
