About The Position

We are seeking detail-oriented and analytical individuals to join our team as Audit Associates (Premium Auditors). The Audit Associate is responsible for reviewing and analyzing payroll, tax, accounting, and business records to determine the appropriate premium basis for commercial insurance policies, including Workers' Compensation, General Liability, and Professional Liability coverage. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and aptitude for learning new software applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to interpret and apply complex rules, guidelines, and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Review payroll, tax, accounting, and business records to determine accurate premium exposure for commercial insurance policies.
  • Conduct premium audits by gathering and analyzing payroll, operational, and employee data from policyholders.
  • Evaluate policy classifications, apply state rating rules, and recommend class code changes when appropriate.
  • Complete audit documentation, process findings in company systems, and explain audit results to policyholders.
  • Provide professional customer service by answering questions, resolving disputes, and ensuring compliance with audit procedures.
