About The Position
Farmers Insurance and the Bryan Thomasson Agency are looking for a customer-focused Insurance Agent Trainee to join their respected team. As an Insurance Agent Trainee, you will prioritize delivering exceptional customer service while learning to provide tailored insurance solutions. You will play a vital role in guiding clients, answering their questions, resolving concerns, and offering trusted support throughout their insurance journey.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of customer service, sales, or related experience preferred
- Passion for helping people and problem-solving
- Exceptional communication and active listening skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
- Comfortable discussing insurance products and handling sensitive situations thoughtfully
- Willingness to pursue Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health license (preferred or willingness to obtain)
- Bilingual skills are a plus
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and courteously to client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Consult with clients to understand their insurance needs and explain product options in clear, simple terms
- Support new and existing clients with policy changes, renewals, billing questions, and claims assistance
- Serve as a reliable resource, following up proactively to ensure excellent client experiences
- Assist sales efforts by identifying referral opportunities and cross-selling insurance products
- Maintain accurate customer records and document interactions in the CRM system
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent service excellence
- Participate actively in team meetings and training sessions
