Requirements

  • Level 1 General Insurance License mandatory with preference given to Level 2
  • 3+ years of automobile insurance experience
  • Demonstrated abilities in providing exceptional client service
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Sales initiative and drive
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of industry-related designation (CAIB, CIP, CRM) is not required but is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Committed to providing an exceptional a total client experience by getting to know your clients, understanding their needs, and offering the best insurance solution to meet all their personal insurance needs
  • Providing ICBC, private auto, travel and habitational coverage advice and sales to clients – new policies, renewals, changes, cancellations - over the phone and in the office when applicable
  • Administer Personal Insurance book of business while cross selling auto products
  • Contact clients for renewal review and options
  • Adherence to ICBC, private auto, travel and habitational production budgets, timelines, policies, procedures, and workflows
  • Maintain a solid understanding of all our product offerings and complete front-line underwriting where applicable
  • Maintain current and up to date accounts receivables for assigned client accounts
  • Interpreting and ensuring that insurer and BC Insurance Council rules and regulations are followed including compliance with inventory, along with handling of funds and documents.
  • Handling customer enquiries and complaints appropriately
  • Commitment to the total client experience by identifying new business opportunities (cross-selling) of other HUB market offerings
  • Commitment to personal growth and professional development to enhance skills, abilities, and performance
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
