Certified Journeyman requires attainment of NCCER written and/or practical certifications. Leadman provides leadership, instruction, and guidance to craft workers and assists the Foreman while working as a journeyman. The role involves selecting and applying appropriate insulation materials, preparing and covering surfaces, handling materials and equipment, and following safety and hazardous-waste procedures. It also includes maintaining tools and equipment, completing records, and performing cleanup and housekeeping. Work is performed under immediate supervision, and the position typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
