About The Position

Performs various simple fabrication, process, and assembly operations in the production of low and high-temperature insulation forms, blankets, and related products. Under general supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including high-temperature thermal insulation fabrication, assembly operations in cutting metal foil and fiberglass insulation to size, hand forming such skins, making cut-outs, or punching holes, assembling of matched foil skins and insulation layer, hooking and folding edges, fabricating stiffeners, and identification tags, cutting patches, and tack welding seams and spot welding of skins, stiffeners and patches. Follows all Senior policies and procedures. Maintains an organized, clean, and safe work area using safety standards and expectations while adhering to all quality practices. Requirements

High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or 1- 2 years of related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Ability to perform high temperature thermal insulation fabrication.
Assembly operation in cutting metal foil and fiberglass insulation to size.
Hand forming such skins, making cut-outs, or punching holes, assembling of matched foil skins and insulation layer.
Hooking and folding edges, fabricating stiffeners, and identification tags.
Cutting patches.
Tack welding seams, and spot welding of skins, stiffeners and patches.
Follow all Senior policies and procedure.
Other duties as assigned.
