Marshall’s Specialty Services is seeking an Insulation Lead Installer to join their team. The Insulation Lead Installer will install insulation and insulation products to company standards, providing customers with a high-quality experience.

Requirements

  • Must pass drug and background screens
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable through the company insurance carrier
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Able to communicate clearly in English both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work with tools used in the job in a safe manner
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure down to the ⅛”
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Basic vehicle operation/use
  • Ability to walk, climb, balance, kneel, crawl and use stairs
  • Ability to hear, talk clearly and see
  • Ability to work in attics, basements, crawl spaces and other tight, uncomfortable spaces
  • Ability and willingness to work in extreme hot and cold weather conditions
  • Ability to work on ladders, stilts, lifts and scaffolding for extended periods of time
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, spray equipment and other equipment as needed
  • Basic Safety Knowledge of tools and surroundings and understanding of how to use common tools
  • Common Material and Tool terminology
  • Pulling and Stocking Materials
  • Understanding of jobsite customer care setup and clean up

Responsibilities

  • Install and remove insulation in walls, ceilings, attics, and other areas as needed, following building codes and safety standards
  • Prepare job sites using drop cloths, moving furniture or obstructions and prepare surface areas using floor protectors
  • Operate company vehicle following all safety standards and applicable laws
  • Support and remove ductwork properly, ensuring it is secured and compliant with regulations
  • Complete weekly vehicle inspection report
  • Properly use safety equipment daily, to include but not limited to, gloves, back brace, lifting harness, safety glasses and continual observation of surroundings and team members
  • Load and unload materials from trucks, ensuring that vehicles are stocked with necessary supplies and kept clean and organized
  • Ability to work staggered schedule, if required
  • Clean truck and job site
  • Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, such as under floor crawl spaces and attics
  • Ability to work on a roof, as needed
  • Install vent screens, baffles, dams, and extended fan venting
  • Use mobile devices or software to track job progress, log materials used, and communicate with supervisors
  • Other duties as assigned
