Insulation Installer
About The Position
This is a full-time position with steady work and opportunities for advancement. The role involves installing insulation in walls, ceilings, attics, and crawlspaces. You will be part of a small crew led by an experienced foreman, working in a variety of conditions with safety procedures and proper equipment in place. The job starts early, with loading materials and safety checks before heading to the jobsite. Team members are expected to look out for one another, work safely, and take pride in their work. If you are punctual, follow safety guidelines, and are willing to learn, you will be supported.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Comfortable using hand tools
- Able to work in tight spaces and at heights
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Able to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for long periods
- A driver’s license and an acceptable motor vehicle report are required if job duties include operating a company vehicle
- Some assignments require a valid driver’s license
- A valid driver’s license is required for tasks involving the transportation of equipment or travel between sites
Nice To Haves
- Construction or installation experience is a plus (we will train the right person)
- Bilingual is a plus, not required
Responsibilities
- Load and track materials on trucks
- Set up ladders or scaffolding
- Cut and install insulation to fit walls, ceilings, attics, and crawlspaces
- Staple, glue, nail, wire, or run equipment for loose-fill or foam insulation
- Drive a company vehicle when needed and keep it clean
- Follow all job site safety procedures
