About The Position

Maintains and repairs all instrument and electronic controls for the Water Treatment Plant. This is a full-time position with a pay range of 53. Requirements

  • Two-year degree or equivalent in electronics or related field
  • Five to seven years experience in the electrical/electronics and instrumentation fields
  • Strong knowledge of programmable logic controllers, data and signal transmission systems
  • Maintains an awareness of worker safety guidelines and procedures, and applies these in performing daily activities and tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement schedules for repair and preventative maintenance of all electrical and electronic equipment.
  • Maintain and calibrate all process control equipment.
  • Interprets all plant drawings, operation and technical manuals.
  • Generates preventative maintenance and calibration record histories using maintenance management software.
  • Interfaces with equipment sales representatives for purchasing new or replacement parts for inventory.
  • Uses various electronic test equipment and software to isolate and correct all process control malfunctions.
  • Performs routine maintenance and repair on building heating/cooling controls and equipment.
  • Maintains and troubleshoots computer/plc hardware and software problems and generates backups of various program files.
  • Assists in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing of water booster stations.
  • Maintains automated bulk water sales system and prepares usage reports.
  • Performs other duties are required.
  • Maintains an awareness of worker safety guidelines and procedures and applies these in performing daily activities and tasks.
