FCC Construction Inc. is seeking an Instrumentation & Monitoring Engineer to join their FCC Team for the MTA’s Second Avenue Subway Project in New York, NY. This role involves daily presence in the office and/or on construction sites. The Second Avenue Subway project is a significant $7.7B expansion aiming to extend the Q Line and add new stations. This specific position supports a $2 billion design-build contract for Phase 2, focusing on tunnels and new subway stations. The Instrumentation & Monitoring Engineer will be responsible for coordinating the installation, management, and monitoring of instrumentation systems to assess ground conditions, adjacent buildings, and structures affected by construction. The role requires collaboration with subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams, ensuring accurate data collection, validation, and reporting, and managing the iSite system. The engineer will also develop and maintain the Response Action Plan (RAP), attend meetings, analyze data, and support continuous improvement of monitoring processes.
