Requirements

• Enrolled in an Environmental/Geological/Civil Engineering program or related discipline
• Ability to handle samples up to 25kg of materials regularly
• Must have a valid Ontario G Driver's License
• Access to a personal vehicle for work purposes (mileage will be compensated)
• Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety

Responsibilities

• Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety policies and procedures
• Participate in site visits and collect field data using total stations and other instrumentation equipment
• Support the Project Manager and Field Supervisor with field activities, including instrument installation, monitoring, and maintenance
• Perform field compaction testing
• Conduct field and laboratory concrete testing
• Complete pre-blast surveys
• Carry out vibration monitoring
• Carry out settlement monitoring
• Prepare clear and accurate technical reports
• Participate in pre-construction site visits and field inspections
• Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date project documentation
