Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED, or relevant work experience in lieu of education.
  • Must be hands on with good build organizational capability
  • Must be a team player
  • Basic hand tool experience required, which includes, drilling tapping assembly of mechanical drive systems and mechanical sub-assemblies
  • Understanding of basic electrical and electronic devices and their associated schematic symbols
  • Technical competence (understanding of Computers, software, hardware, networks, etc.)
  • High regard for safety
  • Must be fluent in English, with strong speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
  • U.S. work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa
  • Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2) years as an electrician and/or instrumentation experience
  • Able to multitask, possess a sense of urgency and communicate effectively

Responsibilities

  • Install and perform terminations on all associated electrical/electronic components in accordance with applicable code
  • Install new electrical raceways including conduits and cable trays
  • Perform point to point quality check of systems before initial power up
  • Perform calibrations of instrumentation via use of pressure pumps, and other calibration equipment
  • Perform cable and instrument checks using meggers, digital multimeters, CT analyzers, etc.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems
  • Help other disciplines (instrumentation, mechanical, operations, etc.) as priority demands
  • Performs work in a safe manner and observes all safety procedures
  • Uses all tools, equipment, and materials responsibly and performs basic inspection and preventive maintenance prior to use
  • Performs work in compliance with applicable codes, standards, safety, and environment regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
