About The Position

VanZandt Controls and Eagle Automation are seeking an Instrumentation and Electrical Technician/I&E Technician for their Farmington, NM location. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, reliable, eager to learn, and adaptable across various job functions. Projects will involve well-pad installations, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, compressor stations, salt-water disposals (SWDs), plants, and programming. The company is looking for candidates who are motivated to grow and advance within the business.

Requirements

At least 5 years' experience as an automation, instrumentation and electrical technician

Nice To Haves

Journeyman level electrician
A 2 year associates degree in Industrial Electrical/Electronics, Instrumentation, or Process Controls

Responsibilities

Installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of SCADA related instrumentation (SCADAPack)
Working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCS)
Working with Human Machine Interfaces (HMI)
Installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Altronic's Products
Working with DD-40 Annunciators
Working with DSMs
Working with Compressor Units/CAT panels
Working with Suction Controllers, Recycle Valves, Liquid Level Controllers, Dump Valves
Working with T-Rex Communicators / Hart
Working with Chemical Injection Pumps, Solar/Pneumatic
Working with Process instrumentation; pressure switches, pressure transmitters, temperature switches, temperature transmitters, flow switches, flow / differential pressure transmitters, vibration switches, vibration transmitters
Working with Combustible Gas Detectors, H2S detectors
Working with O2 Sensors and Moisture Analyzers
Working with Control Valves, Valve Actuators, Valve Positioners
