About The Position
We are seeking an entry-level Instrumentation & Controls Engineer I to join the team in Peachtree Corners, Georgia. The role offers projects across multiple markets and geographies, with opportunities to broaden knowledge and deepen skills in design projects. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who wants to grow, collaborate, and innovate in an AEC consulting environment. The anticipated candidate graduates in December 2026 and is ready to join the team in January 2027.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or another Engineering discipline from an accredited university.
- Desire to work in an AEC consulting environment.
- Ability to perform design calculations.
- Strong professional written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to apply logic or scientific principles to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
- Ability to work well in a team, maintain a positive attitude, multitask, and produce high-quality work as a self-motivated individual.
- Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally.
- Ability to travel roughly 15%. Occasional travel outside the United States may be required; a valid U.S. passport or the ability to obtain one is required in those cases.
Nice To Haves
- Prior internship experience in an AEC environment is a strong bonus.
- FE preferred, or desire to pursue FE/PE licensure.
- Experience using Navisworks, AutoCAD, and/or Revit preferred.
- Understanding of controls theory and major controls system types preferred.
