About the role: As an Instrumentation and Controls Projects Intern, you will report to the Senior Director Management and be located at our Cranberry facility. This is a paid full-time hybrid position for the summer.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering or business
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Completed Sophomore year of college
  • Experience with Technical Design and Analysis
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations to communicate a variety of issues

Responsibilities

  • Develop expertise in the design, construction, operation, and troubleshooting of fuel manufacturing sites
  • Work with Engineering Mentor to develop skills for Safety Basis in a Nuclear
  • Work in teams to resolve critical issues affecting the construction and operation of nuclear manufacturing facilities
  • Develop and maintain a business relationship with internal and external Westinghouse customers
  • Develop specifications for replacement parts in the manufacturing environment
  • Follow plant standards for design and implementation of projects
  • PLC code review, programming, optimization, and visualization – Allen Bradley and GE
