Responsibilities

Development of instrumentation testing protocols procedures.
Development of Preventive Maintenance programs and procedures.
Development of Resource Library for Electricians.
Ensuring instrumentation operation complies with quality parameters.
Assist with identifying and scheduling routine/planned maintenance.
Assist with troubleshooting any issues or concerns.
Assist Electricians with technical issues and concerns.
Evaluate existing instrumentation and processes to improve system efficiency and reliability.
Analyze equipment failure data.
Conduct Root Cause analysis.
Assist with training production staff if required.
Working with Operations and Engineering to design and develop new control processes.
Provide as needed Controls support to Operations and Engineering.
Assist with Installation of new control processes.
May involve procurement and budgetary responsibility.
Provide IT support for plant phones, Access control and Security Systems.
Assist Electricians with Installation, maintaining, testing, inspections, diagnose failures and calibration equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
Knowledge of the following instrumentation and controls: Pressure Transmitters, Coriolis and Mag Flow Meters, RTD/Thermocouple and controllers, Actuated Control valves and Positioners, Level: Capacitance, Radar, Ultra sonic, Allen Bradley PLC, Allen Bradley Variable Frequency Drives, Yaskawa Variable Frequency Drives, Servo Motors.
