Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Development of instrumentation testing protocols procedures.
  • Development of Preventive Maintenance programs and procedures.
  • Development of Resource Library for Electricians.
  • Ensuring instrumentation operation complies with quality parameters.
  • Assist with identifying and scheduling routine/planned maintenance.
  • Assist with troubleshooting any issues or concerns.
  • Assist Electricians with technical issues and concerns.
  • Evaluate existing instrumentation and processes to improve system efficiency and reliability.
  • Analyze equipment failure data.
  • Conduct Root Cause analysis.
  • Assist with training production staff if required.
  • Working with Operations and Engineering to design and develop new control processes.
  • Provide as needed Controls support to Operations and Engineering.
  • Assist with Installation of new control processes.
  • May involve procurement and budgetary responsibility.
  • Provide IT support for plant phones, Access control and Security Systems.
  • Assist Electricians with Installation, maintaining, testing, inspections, diagnose failures and calibration equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
  • Knowledge of the following instrumentation and controls: Pressure Transmitters, Coriolis and Mag Flow Meters, RTD/Thermocouple and controllers, Actuated Control valves and Positioners, Level: Capacitance, Radar, Ultra sonic, Allen Bradley PLC, Allen Bradley Variable Frequency Drives, Yaskawa Variable Frequency Drives, Servo Motors.
