Stantec is currently seeking an EIT Level Instrumentation and Controls Engineer for our Cleveland, OH office location. Successful applicants will work with a multidiscipline group of engineers and designers providing technical services to public and private sector clients. Primary duties, as applicable to water and wastewater treatment facilities and pumping stations, will include the below listed activities. Design activities including: Support of control system engineering and automation designs within multi-disciplinary teams Assist in the development of construction documents including: Drawings produced using computer-aided engineering (CAE) production tools: Database driven Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's) Detailed network communication architecture diagrams Control panel details CCTV and Access Control System drawings Point-to-Point Wiring Diagrams Instrument installation details Technical specifications and summary control system schedules Construction support activities including: Assist in the review of contractor submittals Support of equipment and control system inspections and pre-commissioning Active participation in field data-gathering and equipment assessment assignments Working in a manner to ensure personal safety and that of fellow employees by following company health and safety guidelines and policies. Duties will be generally performed under the guidance of a senior level or higher I&C engineer.
