This position is located in the Bunge North America soybean processing plant in Morristown, IN. The Instrumentation and Controls Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of all instruments, electrical equipment, PLC’s, and/or process analyzers. The role involves working with electrical, instrumentation, and controls systems and equipment, including wiring, switches, control valves, and analyzers. A key aspect of the role is maintaining alarm systems used in PLC control environments for monitoring, control, and safeguarding process system flows and operating variables in accordance with safety regulations. The technician will also perform complex technical duties, diagnose equipment failures, and conduct repair, replacement, adjustment, and preventive maintenance on plant operating and control equipment. A strong commitment to food safety, maintaining a food safety culture, and continually improving the site’s food safety management system is essential, along with complying with customer and regulatory requirements. Adherence to all safety policies, procedures, and good manufacturing practices is expected, and any concerns with safe food practices must be reported.
