About The Position
Assists the OR unit in a variety of surgical support activities. Provides sterile and non-sterile supplies in order to meet departmental needs. Processes instruments by cleaning, sterilizing and assembling instrument trays. Distributes instrument trays according to scheduled surgical cases.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Manual Dexterity.
- Annual completion of unit specific/job specific competency requirements as delineated in competency tool.
